The biggest challenge with this project was designing around the sloped site. From the rear corner to the street front, there is an elevation change of around 9’-0”. The form of the building follows this topography, with each unit stepping 2’-0” towards the West.

The materiality of the building consists of a thoughtful application of light and dark smooth stucco, with Thermory ash wood siding accents at the second story. This same wood application also formed part of the sitework material palette, with the landscaping and architecture blending into one.
